Pic of the week 19/4/20
Rog posted the above pic on Facebook today – he was given the photo on the left today, he already had the faded copy on the right.
The two photos are different – although I had forgotten all about this pic, as soon as I saw it I remembered it, but like Rog, I didn’t know two versions existed. We think it (they) were taken in Farnsfield in the early ’70’s. I’ve always loved this photo, I was a cheeky, smiley, happy little chappy then, and like to think I still am.
In other news, today marks the end of the Easter holidays, but I’m not going back into school tomorrow as we remain under “lock down” so I will start the term teaching remotely. There is now some discussion as to when schools will go back – I can see after half term being a possibility, but I can’t see it being practical. Will be interesting to see how the next few weeks pan out – if I’m honest, it doesn’t seem like the end of the holidays, more that I’ll have a few things I have to do in my week. I think I need to embrace the structure of the working day, even if its a shortened working day, and make sure I have several productive hours each day.
We continue to live in strange times.
